Some versions of AVG have been mistakenly identifying the CHL Network player as a potential threat. Rest assured the program is safe and secure and virus free.

If when downloading / installing the player you get a warning dialog similar to the one below take the following steps:

By way of background, please know that your CHL Network player is safe, secure, and virus free. Unfortunately AVG, a maker of virus protection software, erroneously included a large number of safe programs, including the CHL Network player, in a recent release of their virus database. We have contacted AVG and they assure us that the CHL Network player has been removed from their threat list, and our internal testing seems to support this.

Instructions

Download the CHL Network_.exe file.
When prompted by your browser as to whether you want to run or save this file, select run.
The CHL Network player will be placed on your desktop and will launch automatically.
Follow the onscreen prompts to register your CHL Network Player.
Once registered, click the Channels button on your CHL Network player and select the channel you wish to watch.
That's it! Your CHL Network player will connect to the video feed from the channel you have chosen.

System Requirements

The CHL Network player requires a high speed (DSL / Cable Modem) Internet connection and a computer running the Windows operating system with Windows Media 9 or above.

NOTE: As the CHL Network player must access the Internet in order to transmit and receive audio and video data, please grant the application such access if you receive a notice from your firewall program. Failure to grant your player access to the Internet can result in the program being unable to tune to a channel and display video.
